Optometrist Near You in Fort Myers, FL
Eye care professionals specialize in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision—many of which do not always have obvious symptoms. Eye doctors know how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and they understand the benefits and features of corrective lenses, both as eyeglass lenses and contact lenses.

Meet Our Fort Myers Eye Doctors:
Growing up in Huntington Woods, Michigan, Dr. Sills had an uncle and a cousin who were both optometrists, and introduced him to the world of eye care
very early. Dr. Sills relates one of his favorite patient stories, “I once found a patient who had a retinal detachment but had no symptoms. I was able to refer him to a specialist and his vision was saved. Had we not caught this in time, he would be blind today!”
Dr. Sills enjoys biking and hiking, river rafting, ballroom dancing, working out at the gym in group classes and watching Detroit sports teams. He has a wonderful daughter, Shanna, as well as two great stepsons, Michael & David, and a grandson as well.
Dr. Sills also wants his patients to know that he and one of his technicians also speak Spanish!
